Lindsey joined New Birth Company in 2018. She was born and raised Kansas City, moved away for many years and has now moved back to the area to raise her family. She has been a midwife since 2010 and was a labor and delivery nurse for 4 years prior to that. Lindsey has experience in both low and high-risk pregnancy in a hospital setting, out of hospital birth, and full-scope midwifery care. She has a passion for patient education and has been writing health education material for the Journal of Midwifery & Women’s Health since she became a midwife. Lindsey earned her B.S. and D.N.P. from Baylor University. She is both a RN and CNM. In her free-time, she enjoys reading, sewing, spending time with her family and being outdoors. “I believe that all women should have the opportunity to have a beautiful birth and feel honored to be part of each one. I also believe that education is power and seek to give you the information that you need to make the best decisions for yourself and your family.”
